GUIDELINES
FOR USAGE

Help

The descriptor annotation is envisioned as a Post-it® Note containing comments or narrative that further explains or documents the descriptions of a media item. If the pre-defined elements and sub-elements in PBCore require further explanation, use annotation to present this information.

Additionally, annotation may be useful in cases where an established controlled vocabulary does not adequately represent certain qualities of an asset and you wish to embellish your description.
